📋 Overview

FileGet respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement on our platform.

FileGet is a tool that facilitates downloading publicly accessible files. We do not host any content ourselves — we act as a technical intermediary.

⚠️ Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, please provide the following information in writing to our DMCA Agent:

  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The specific URL or location of the allegedly infringing content
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Quick Response: We aim to process all valid DMCA notices within 48 business hours. Once verified, infringing access will be disabled promptly.

🔄 Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. The counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and consent to jurisdiction

🚫 Repeat Infringers

FileGet has a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We take copyright compliance seriously and will take appropriate action for repeated violations.
